Travis Tischler is an American artist and cinematographer currently based in New York, New York.
His personal work explores different modes of observation, typically through the exploration of labor spaces and the people, dialogue and objects that inhabit it. Over the course of his career he hopes to greater understand the systems and networks that make-up America. His work typically exists in the realm of experimental and/or documentary - usually finding a way to combine the two.
His work for others consists within a wide range of formats, from fashion films to narrative shorts to exhibition-based videos. In these he serves as a Director of Photography.

He is a graduate of the NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and English Literature.
